This box provides an excellent starting point for building a Space Marines collection for Warhammer 40,000. Their versatility allows them to adapt to many different battlefield situations, making them an accessible and flexible army to play. Whether you are taking your first steps into the hobby or already have plenty of experience, the included guide will help you prepare a complete Combat Patrol for battle.

The introductory booklet provides straightforward instructions for assembling and painting your miniatures. A Warhammer Colour Starter Brush and a selection of paints specifically chosen for Space Marines are also included, allowing you to begin painting your army right away.

The box contains thirteen push-fit Space Marines miniatures: one Captain with Relic Shield, one Librarian, five Intercessors, five Vanguard Veterans, and one Land Speeder.

The Captain with Relic Shield, Librarian, Vanguard Veterans Sergeant, and Land Speeder pilots each have alternative head options, allowing them to be assembled with either a helmeted or bare head. The Land Speeder can also be equipped with a heavy flamer instead of its onslaught gatling cannon.

The set includes a 36-page softcover introductory booklet, a Warhammer Colour Starter Brush, and a Texture Spreader.

Eleven Warhammer Colour paints are included to help you get started with your Space Marines. The selection consists of Abaddon Black, Macragge Blue, Mournfang Brown, Leadbelcher, Retributor Armour, Corax White, Mephiston Red, Wraithbone, Dawnstone, Nuln Oil, and Astrogranite.

The kit contains 159 plastic components. It also includes one Citadel 105 x 70mm Oval Hex Hole Base, two Citadel 40mm Round Hex Hole Bases, and ten Citadel 32mm Round Hex Hole Bases.

The push-fit miniatures are supplied unpainted and require assembly before use.
